GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Mesón del Regidor reappears fully restored in the center of Trinidad, one of the oldest and certainly the most beautiful and well-preserved villages of Cuba; this hostel is completely immersed in the local environment, being this an invitation for the lovers of the hustle and bustle and the comings and goings of the inhabitants of the ancient villa. Upon arrival to Trinidad, it feels as though you have stepped back in time many years. The Spanish colonial architecture has hardly been touched, so it is not surprising that it has been designated a "National Historical Monument" and in 1988, UNESCO placed Trinidad on the world heritage list for its cultural treasures. This small, but cosy hotel with four air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and a snack-bar, will make you feel at home. The Hotel Mesón del Regidor has recently been restored and blends well with the cityscape in Trinidad, a city noted for the preservation of its historic streets and buildings. When you arrive, you will feel as if you have stepped back in time. Trinidad has beautifully preserved its Spanish colonial architecture dating from the 17th to the 18th century. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This small, comfortable hotel has four rooms (all with air-conditioning), a restaurant and snack-bar. It also features a patio with a garden where you can relax before heading out into the town known as the City Museum, and to enjoy the shade and fresh air provided by its trees.
