GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This hotel, known as Villa Blanca or White Villa, is located in the city of Caibarién. It’s famous for its crabs and its intense maritime life on the northern coast of Villa Clara province. It’s one of Cuba’s main coastal cities, which received the title of Villa in 1873. Among the cays of the province’s northern coast we find Cayo Santa María, linked to Caibarién by a causeway that was awarded with the "Puente de Alcántara International Prize"--the highest recognition ever obtained by Cuban civil engineering. The prize was granted for the excellence of its constructions, especially for its 44 bridges, and also for its ecological values, since the area crossed by the land bridge is one of the most attractive on the island, due to its diversity of biological species and ecosystems. The Complejo Brisas del Mar is located at Caibarién beach, where you’ll find clear waters. Here, travellers who come to relax discover great attractions besides bathing in the sea, since the area is rich in historical and cultural traditions. The town of Remedios, well known for its famous parrandas, is 9 kilometers away, and the province’s capital, Santa Clara, is 60 km. Tourists wishing to explore the hotel’s surroundings can rent a car in the center of the city, and drive to attractive spots such as Cayo Santa María, through the causeway. ROOM FACILITIES: 17 rooms with air conditioning--seven of them overlooking the sea-- private bath, and satellite TV. GENERAL FACILITIES: a la carte restaurant, bar, snack bar, swimming pool, rent-a-car in Caibarién, parking, and taxis on request. Tourists can have Internet access at the center of the city.
