The district of Vedado is honored to posses one of Havana's most
luxurious restaurants: Monseineur. This restaurant-bar's well-deserved
celebrity dates back to the 1950s, when it was frequented by internationally
famous performers, such as Sarita Montiel, Nat king Cole, as well
as prominent figures from the world of business.
In the '60s the Monseigneur acquired a seal of distinction through
the charismatic personality of songster Bola de Nieve, who wrapped
it in the enchantment of his piano playing. Today, that atmosphere
has been recreated with the presence of one of Cuba's best pianists,
Nelson Camacho. This is a magic setting where you can enjoy exquisite
dishes such as Filete Uruguayo, Orly french shrimp and grilled lobster.
